PRO V200 Injection Resin

PRO V200 injection resin is a cost-effective alternative to Hilti HY200. It’s a fast-curing chemical anchor for high-load and critical applications. European Technical Approved.

PRO V200 can be used overhead and is especially effective in corrosive and damp conditions. It’s ideal for high-performance structural applications and in dry and wet concrete. PRO V200 also has WRAS approval, so can be used in drinking and clean water applications.

PRO V200 has proved its worth on applications such as the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Media City in Salford, the London Crossrail route and on Jaguar Land Rover’s new engine factory development.

Power station client is PRO V200 convert

In January 2017, work began in Northumberland to convert the 44-year-old coal-fired Lynemouth Power Station to a new biomass-fuelled power plant, to support the UK government’s climate-change targets.

The steelwork contractor was looking for a cost-effective alternative to the Hilti injection resins and V anchor rods they usually use. They turned to ETA-approved Proventure for the design and specification of the resin anchors used to secure the temporary bases, support towers and hopper build up frames.

The anchors were required to work in shear and tension with loads up to 70kN per support tower.

The client specified PRO V200 injection resin and M20x260mm V anchor rods, saving around 35% on the costs of the Hilti equivalents.

Following the success of the PRO V products and the significant cost savings, the client has since used PRO V injection resins on other projects.
